From her early days, exploring the Pachysandra in her Grandmother’s backyard, collecting design magazines in high school and studying interior design at FIT, Jennifer has always possessed a passion for colors, textures and the spaces around her.
With her love for the exquisite details in design, she began her career working for a textile and wallcovering company whose luxurious fabrics and old world artisans continue to influence her design approach today.
It wasn't until she began planning her own wedding, that she discovered her love for floral design. And the powerful ways in which flowers have the ability to bring joy, or provide comfort, to express the unspoken words between us, and of course, for their amazing ability to transform a space!
With a solid foundation in design, she leaped on the path to floral design with self taught experiences, formal classes and a decade honing her skills at a full service floral shop rooted in tradition, artisans in their own right.
Here, she mastered the art of European Hand Tied Bouquets, traditional bouquet wiring, and the knowledge of flower care that today, sets her apart.
Floral design serves more than a creative outlet. It provides endless opportunities for connection and shared storytelling from the people she designs for.
With her expressive signature style, she is able to weave a kaleidoscope of color and texture effortlessly into her designs with elements meant to delight the senses.
From the visual punch of a poppy, the exquisite touch of a silk wrapped bouquet , to the intoxicating scent of Hyacinths wafting through the air, every event detail is intentional.
Meant to delight you, and your treasured guests, on the day you have always imagined. Brought to life by the creative artistry of Mimosa Floristry!
